One-time vs same-day vs recurring cleaning

One-time cleaning is a single booking with no plan attached. You pick the clean type, the date and the hours, and that’s it. In the app, choose One Time under How Often.
Same-day cleaning is a one-time clean booked for today. Whether a same-day slot is open depends on which cleaners near you are free, so the app shows you what’s available when you book.
Recurring cleaning repeats weekly, every 2 weeks, every 3 weeks or monthly. Plans have a minimum of 10 cleanings. See recurring cleaning plans.

Plenty of people start with a one-time clean and decide later. There’s no obligation to sign up for a plan.

How to book a same-day or one-time house cleaning

Open the クリーンスターアプリ or go to app.cleanster.com and choose House or Apartment & Condo.
Enter your address. You’ll see a map of cleaners near you.
Choose the type of clean: Standard, Deep, Move-Out or Luxury.
Pick the date. Home cleanings have an arrival window of 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and your cleaner arrives within that window. For a same-day clean, pick today if it’s offered; if not, pick the earliest date shown.
Choose a cleaner from the marketplace, rebook someone you’ve used before, or skip and let Cleanster pick for you.
Set bedrooms, bathrooms and hours (the app suggests hours), choose One Time, and add extras like inside the oven or fridge, windows or laundry.
Review the booking summary with the full price, then book.

Which clean should you book for a one-time visit?

The right clean depends on how long it’s been and what’s coming next.

Standard clean: your home is in decent shape and you want it fresh for guests, a showing or the weekend. Kitchen, bathrooms, dusting and floors. See ハウスクリーニング.

What a one-time house cleaning costs

You pay by the hour, and the hourly rate depends on where you live and the clean type. Starting prices for a 2-hour clean at our lowest hourly rate:

Standard cleaning: from $122 for 2 hours
Deep cleaning: from $126 for 2 hours
Move-in / move-out cleaning: from $138 for 2 hours

Prices vary by location, so your price may be higher. Every booking has a 2-hour minimum and a $3 booking fee, and you see the full price before you confirm. How to get the most out of a short-notice clean

A same-day clean is often a race against a deadline. A few minutes of prep lets your cleaner spend the booked hours on cleaning, not tidying.

Pick up clutter. Clear counters, floors and the bathroom vanity. Cleaners clean surfaces faster when they don’t have to move piles first.
List your top three priorities. Add a note like “guest bathroom, kitchen, living room floors first.” If time runs short, the rooms that matter get done.
Book enough hours. Use the hours the app suggests. If the home is behind, add an hour or book a deep clean. It’s cheaper than a second visit.
Decide on supplies. Use your own or pay to have your cleaner bring them. A vacuum, mop and broom aren’t included. See supplies and equipment.
Sort out access. Leave parking and entry details in the booking, and keep your phone handy in case your cleaner messages you.
Mention pets. Answer the pet question so cleaners with allergies know what to expect, and put pets in a separate room if you can.

Changing or cancelling a last-minute booking

Plans change. Rescheduling is free, but you can’t reschedule once your cleaner is on the way, and a $20 fee applies after 4 reschedules. Cancelling is free up to 24 hours before your cleaning. Within 24 hours there’s a $20 fee, and within 12 hours the booking isn’t refunded.
