Get Started

• Organize cupboards and check for crumbs
• Clean inside of oven, make sure no cooking stains or grime left. Only clean with self-cleaning oven cleaning supplies
• Clean appliance exteriors, including the inside of toaster and coffee maker. Double check for wipe marks and finger prints
• Clean inside and outside of refrigerator and microwave.
• Clean and disinfect the freezer
• Clean any grease off the microwave vent / fan
• Vacuum and wash floors. Make sure there is no running water on mop. If water gets between floor cracks it will damage the floor
• Empty dishwasher, and quickly organize cupboards. Check for dust or crumbs inside cupboards. (Dark mugs go into bottom drawer)
• Clean and sanitize mats on dining table
• Restock dish detergent, liquid dish soap, coffee filters, and trash bags.
• Put out X clean dishtowels, and a new dish rag/sponge.
• Remove any leftover garbage and wipe garbage
• Clean table and vacuum any crumbs out of table cracks
• Clean kitchen window
• Throw away all food items. Leave nothing in refrigerator

Living Room

• Clean, wipe dust, and vacuum all furniture
• Wipe Dust of window sills and ledges
• Dust furniture, blinds, picture frames, knickknacks, ceiling fans, and lamps
• Vacuum carpets and wash floors. Vacuum and wash under couch
• Vacuum furniture, including under seat cushions
• Clean sliding glass doors
• Spray couch & throw blankets with disinfection spray

Bedroom

• Change sheets and pillowcases. If sheets wrinkled iron especially ends of the sheet facing out and pillow cases
• Wash all bed linen including coverlet. Add bleach to all white laundry washes
• Check for hair or any fuzz on the sheets, pillows, etc
• Vacuum floor and under beds. Wipe under beds
• Check for personal belongings left in drawers and closets
• Dust furniture and clean mirrors
• Check windows, glass and vanity for fingerprints
• Make sure light bulbs are not burned out
• Check for wear and tear or stains on sheets and blankets
• Spray comforters / blankets with sanitary febreze or Lysol disinfection spray

Bathrooms

• Clean, scrub and sanitize showers, bathtubs, vanity, sinks, and backsplashes
• Clean mirrors
• Clean, scrub and sanitize showers, bathtubs, vanity, sinks, and backsplashes
• Clean and sanitize toilets
• Polish chrome
• Wash floors and tile walls
• Empty wastebasket
• Check vanity drawers and clean inside cabinets
• Replenish liquid hand soap
• Supply clean linens, X hand towels, X washcloths, X bath towels per guest and X shower mat
• Wash all towels and bath mats. Add bleach to all white laundry

Other Areas

• Wipe down and sanitize all remote controls. Check batteries
• Be sure all garbage/waste baskets are clean
• Be sure dishwasher is unloaded
• Be sure refrigerator is clean inside
• Check for hair on furniture, linens, bed, etc
• Check light bulbs, change if necessary
• Wipe off patio set, clean barbeque grill. Check for propane in barbeque grill
• Winter: Remove ash from woodstove
• Notify owner immediately if you notice any damages, missing items, or if the home was left excessively dirty. Take pictures of any damaged or dirty items
• Lock supply room and doors before leaving
