First Things
- Upon arrival please check the house for any new stains, scratches, marks, damaged, missing items, signs of smoking - smell, cigarette butts in fire pit or trash cans, signs of pets - stains on floors, scratches, urine/feces. Take PICTURES and send a description to us if there are issues or if it's exceptionally dirty, requiring extra cleaning.
- Count number of used grey towels. Total of: X bath towels, X hand towels, X wash rags. In guests closets extra towels (WHITE): X bath towels, X hand towels, X wash rags.
- Check to make sure Roku stick is in master bedroom TV.
- Make sure all televisions remote controls are there and that batteries are working, wipe down remote controls with disinfectant wipes.
- Make sure Wifi Extender is plugged in outlet behind dresser in bedroom #X.
- All guests are reviewed on a X star rating scale on cleanliness and observance of house rules. If you can provide us with a very brief description of how the guests left the house (whether clean or not) that is very helpful.
Kitchen
- Unload dishwasher ensure they are clean. Wash remaining items by hand.
- Put dishes away in cabinets once dry
- Clean coffee pot, filter basket, water reservoir, and coffee maker. Make sure the time on coffee maker is correct.
- Scrub sink and faucet/handles, everything should be spotless.
- Clean/scrub stove top, oven, and microwave oven everything should be spotless.
- Wipe down all back splashes and walls or cabinet doors.
- Wipe outside and handles of: cabinets/drawers, stove, microwave, dishwasher with disinfectant wipes or spray.
- Wipe down trash can inside and out.
- Clean oven front and refrigerator with stainless steel cleaner and microfiber cloth.
- Spray and wipe down counters
- Throw out leftover food from fridge, wipe down shelves and drawers.
- Replace dish towels, oven mitts, sink scrubber (new scrubber for every check-in), paper towels, and trash bag.
- Wipe down all bar stools/chairs, using leather wipes on leather areas.
- Sweep and mop all floor areas. Please make sure to mop padded rug in front of kitchen sink.
- Check/restock: dish soap on kitchen sink (DO NOT THROW AWAY SMALL BOTTLE - refill from large bottle in storage), hand soap dispenser (fill with hand soap), tea, coffee filters, coffee, sugar, creamer, paper towels. Under the sink: extra roll of paper towels, extra (new) scrubber, and X kitchen trash bags.
- Make sure first aid kit and fire extinguisher are new/unused and on counter next to stove.
- Place new bottle of wine on kitchen island next to welcome placard with business cards in holder.
Living Room
- Wipe down dining table making sure all edges/under edges are clean.
- Dust hanging lights if necessary
- Vacuum couch lightly, vacuum living room rug.
- Re-stock tissues if necessary.
- Put out bottle of wine next to on counter top.
Master Bedroom
- Remove used sheets and pillow cases, launder. If mattress pad is soiled, launder. Replace used sheets with a clean set of sheets. Launder duvet cover if soiled, replace with clean.
- Wipe down dresser, mirror, side tables, lamps, handles on all drawers, using disinfecting wipes.

- Make sure clock is correct.
- Gather all towels and rugs in bathroom, launder. Replace towels and rugs with clean sets.

- Clean toilet inside and outside with disinfectant - should be spotless.
- Sweep and wipe floor around toilet.
- Scrub tub and shower, it should be spotless.
- Throw away any partially used shampoo, conditioner, bar soap, replacing with new.
- Restock toilet paper.
- Re-stock tissues if necessary.
- Vacuum carpet.
- At the end of cleaning, take out trash (replace with new trash bag) and put in garbage bin outside of garage.
Guest Bedroom #X (Bedroom closest to front door)
- Remove used sheets and pillow cases, launder. If mattress pad is soiled, launder. Replace used sheets with a clean set of sheets. Launder duvet cover if soiled, replace with clean.
- Wipe down dresser, side tables, lamps, handles on all drawers, using disinfecting wipes.
- Return extra blanket, pillow etc to closet shelf according to labels.
- Make sure clock is correct.

Guest bedroom #X ( Bedroom with french doors)
- Remove used sheets and pillow cases, launder. If mattress pad is soiled, launder. Replace used sheets with a clean set of sheets. Launder duvet cover if soiled, replace with clean.
- Wipe down dresser, side tables, lamps, handles on all drawers, using disinfecting wipes.
- Return extra blanket, pillow etc to closet shelf according to labels.

Bedroom #X (Twin bed/trundle)
- Remove used sheets and pillow cases, launder. If mattress pad is soiled, launder. Make sure to check that sheets on trundle are clean. Replace all used sheets with a clean set of sheets. Launder duvet cover if soiled, replace with clean.
- Wipe down dresser, side tables, lamps, handles on all drawers, using disinfecting wipes.
- Return extra blanket, pillow etc to closet shelf according to labels.
- Make sure clock is correct.
- Re-stock tissues if necessary.
- Vacuum carpet.

Bathroom
- Gather all towels and rugs in bathroom, launder. Replace towels and rugs with clean sets.
- Wipe counter tops, drawer handles, door knobs, towel racks with disinfectant wipes or spray.
- Clean sink and faucets thoroughly.
- Clean mirror.
- Clean toilet inside and outside with disinfectant - should be spotless
- Sweep and wipe around toilet.
- Scrub tub and shower, it should be spotless.
- Throw away any partially used shampoo, conditioner, bar soap, replacing with new.
- Restock toilet paper
- At the end of cleaning, take out trash (replace with new trash bag) and put in garbage bin outside of garage.
Laundry
- Make sure tops of washer and dryer is wiped down, spotless.
- Sweep and mop laundry room floor.
- Check to make sure iron is in cabinet above the dryer and ironing board is folded and standing in space next to dryer.
Outside Front/Back
- Sweep front porch and steps, making sure that all bird droppings are washed off.
- Make sure backyard is clean, pick up trash.
- Make sure fire pit is clean.
- Wipe down patio table. Make sure chairs are organized around table/patio.
- Make sure grill is clean, wipe down shelving, clean grill tools. Check to make sure there is propane in tank.
- Garage is closed and locked.
- Side gate is closed.
Before Leaving
- Check all windows and doors making sure they are locked. Check smoke detectors are on and the light is flashing.
Supplies - Checklist
- Garbage bags - X kitchen trash bags under kitchen sink.
- X brand new sponge under kitchen sink.
- X new roll of paper towels under kitchen sink.
- Dish soap full in dispenser on kitchen sink. Hand soaps full in dispensers by bathroom sinks.
- Tissues - new/full box in all bedrooms and bathrooms.
- Toilet paper - full roll on dispensers and extra rolls....?
- Ground Coffee in container on kitchen shelf, left of stove.
- Bathroom shampoo, conditioner, body soap ?
- Laundry detergent and dryer sheets in cabinet above washer.
